Born in Locarno, Switzerland in 1964, Matteo Aroldi received a higher diploma in photography at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan in 1987.

Since becoming a freelance photographer more than 20 years ago, he specializes in the field of architecture photography, and is active in Switzerland, Italy and Japan. His photography services include interiors, exteriors, design details, lighting design and construction documentation.

By incorporating the latest digital technology in shooting and image treatment, he provides pictures of highest quality, and meets and exceeds client’s expectation by tailoring services to each unique project.

In addition to architecture photography, he is also a keen photographer of nature, stage performances, and urban landscapes. Recently he pursues the project under the theme of interactions between people in the urban context.
